Dental Implants
What are dental implants?
Dental implants are titanium posts surgically placed in the jawbone to replace missing tooth roots. Once healed, custom crowns are attached to create permanent, natural-looking replacement teeth.
How long do dental implants last?
With proper care, dental implants can last a lifetime. The crown may need replacement after 10-15 years due to normal wear, but the implant itself is designed to be permanent.
Am I a candidate for dental implants?
Most adults with missing teeth are candidates. Factors include bone density, overall health, and oral hygiene. Schedule a free consultation to determine if implants are right for you.
What is All-on-4?
All-on-4 is an innovative technique that replaces an entire arch of teeth using just four implants. You can get a full set of fixed, permanent teeth in a single day.
Is the implant procedure painful?
Most patients report minimal discomfort. We use local anesthesia during the procedure, and sedation options are available. Post-procedure discomfort is typically managed with over-the-counter pain relievers.
Cosmetic Dentistry
How long do veneers last?
Porcelain veneers typically last 10-15 years with proper care. They're stain-resistant and designed to look natural. Regular dental visits help maintain their appearance.
Is professional teeth whitening safe?
Yes, professional whitening is safe when performed by dental professionals. We use controlled concentrations and protect your gums during treatment. Results can last 1-3 years with good maintenance.
What's the difference between bonding and veneers?
Bonding uses composite resin applied in one visit for minor repairs. Veneers are custom porcelain shells that cover the front of teeth for more dramatic, long-lasting transformations.
Do you offer Invisalign?
Yes, we're certified Invisalign providers. Dr. Osinovsky has completed hundreds of Invisalign cases. Schedule a consultation to see if clear aligners are right for you.
Sedation & Comfort
Do you offer sedation dentistry?
Yes, we offer multiple sedation options including nitrous oxide (laughing gas), oral sedation, and IV sedation for patients with dental anxiety or undergoing complex procedures.
Will I be asleep during sedation?
It depends on the level of sedation. Nitrous oxide keeps you relaxed but aware. Oral and IV sedation create a deeper state of relaxation where you may not remember the procedure.
Is sedation safe?
Yes, sedation is very safe when administered by trained professionals. We monitor your vitals throughout the procedure and ensure you're comfortable and safe.
