Can I eat before a sedation appointment?
For nitrous oxide, you can eat a light meal a few hours before your appointment. For oral sedation, we typically recommend not eating for 6 hours before your appointment. For IV sedation, you must fast for 6-8 hours beforehand. We will provide specific instructions when you schedule your appointment.
